BRANDchannel 05

Branding / Communications

One voice for the whole organization — a messaging platform, an honest audit of how you actually write, standards and templates your teams will use, and cohort training that reaches every department from the front lines to the CEO. Words first. Built to be adopted, not filed.

our_take

Most brand projects start with the logo and end in a binder. We start with the words. A refreshed mark can’t fix a member email, a market update, and a sales deck that sound like three different institutions — a shared voice can. So the visual work in this channel is deliberately limited to the basic standards that support the voice; an identity refresh is its own phase when you actually need one. And every deliverable is written to be used by your own staff, because a standard that lives only with the agency isn’t a standard.

what’s_inside_this_channel

Inside Branding / Communications.

  • 01
Organizational messaging strategy — purpose, positioning, and personality in one approved platform; an elevator speech in short, medium, and long; value propositions with proof points; and messaging sets for every stakeholder you name.
  • 02
Communications audit — an inventory of your live marketing, sales, investment, email, outreach, and daily communications, scored for consistency, clarity, length, and effectiveness, with a ranked list of what to rewrite first.
  • 03
Voice guidelines & writing standards — how you sound, shown with before/after rewrites of your own material; structure, length, audience, subject lines, and the “less is more” standard every team writes to.
  • 04
Template toolkit — customized templates for your highest-volume formats (member emails, market updates, sales outreach, operational notices), built in the tools you already use so they actually get used.
  • 05
Cohort-based training designed around how influence really flows through your organization — leadership, sales, operations, member services, the front line — with an executive session, a takeaway guide, an AI companion, and a train-the-trainer kit so the standard outlives us.

how_agents_amplify

The agent layer underneath.

The audit is where agents earn their keep. They inventory hundreds of live emails, notices, and updates, score each one against the same rubric for consistency, clarity, and length, and surface the patterns a practitioner then interprets. Once the voice is defined, we configure an AI companion to it — prompting, drafting, and review support your teams use in daily work — so a front-line notice and a CEO letter both come back on-standard without a round trip to marketing. Practitioners write the platform and run the room. Agents make the standard hold after we leave.

questions_we_get

Honest answers.

Is this a rebrand?
Not by default. This channel is voice-led: messaging, standards, templates, and training. Visual work is limited to basic standards for how your existing type, color, and marks are used in everyday communications. If you want a logo refresh, new lockups, or a full color and type system, we scope it as a separate identity phase — cleanest at kickoff, not as a pile of change orders.
Who actually runs the training?
A communications facilitator with financial-services experience, backed by the same team that wrote your messaging platform. Sessions run on site or remote, cohort by cohort, with the executive session scheduled alongside — because executive alignment is what drives adoption.
What does the AI companion do?
Once the standards are written, we configure it to your voice: prompting, drafting, and review support so staff can check a draft against the standard without waiting on marketing. You own the configuration.
Does this include the website?
No — but the messaging is written so your site team can use it. Phase 1 ships a website-ready copy brief. If you also need the build, that's our Agentic Development channel, and the two run well together.
Who owns the deliverables?
You do, on full payment: the messaging platform, audit findings, guidelines, templates, training materials, living guide, AI companion configuration, and editable master files.
